Sightings

                        SOME RECENT SIGHTINGS SUBMITTED TO THE CLUB

May Highlights:

May usually marks the arrival of the regular later migrants such as Spotted Flycatchers, Redstarts and Swifts. A few interesting or unusual birds also turned up, such as the Mandarin Duck which dropped in for a few days at Spindlestone, a Black Tern seen on the River Tweed at West Ord on the 4th by Martin Worsfold and 6 Dotterels at Boulmer on the 9th reported by Ian and Keith Davison. As ever there is much of interest to browse in the full list of sightings below.

During July and August when no Newsletters are published, please continue to send your regular monthly sightings in by the 1st August and again by 4th September. Interim records will be distributed by email to contributors, and the Summer Records published in the September Newsletter.
